Natal, a division of Marshall Amplification, are pleased to announce that Whitesnake drummer Brian Tichy will be joining their international endorsee roster. Brian has held the beat for many other top bands, including Billy Idol, Foreigner, Velvet Revolver and Ozzy Osbourne. He is the second major Natal artist endorsee, joining Christoff ‘Swiss’ Flueck. Brian is featured on Steven Tyler’s brand-new single ‘(It) Feels So Good’, has been working with Whitesnake on their latest album Forevermore, and is currently in rehearsals for the band’s world tour.
Marshall have worked with Doug Aldrich on supplying amps and cabs for the tour, which means that Whitesnake will be the first band to take a full Marshall backline on the road, with Reb Beach joining Doug using Marshall cabs, Michael Devin running his bass through the Marshall VBA400 and cabs, and Brian playing the Natal birch kit, which is finished in a grey sparkle and features Natal ‘tru-tune’ tension rods, the NRM (Natal Resonant Mount) and their aluminium ball joint tom mounts. See our review of the Natal Ash kit on page 66.
Natal are also pleased to announce that Brian is trying out the first British-made Natal snare drum, made in the same factory as Marshall amps.
