Spirit Of Maiden Kit and Nicko Clinic Tour

Premier are proud to introduce the ‘Spirit of Maiden’ drum set – designed exclusively by Premier and Iron Maiden’s Nicko McBrain. Since 1993 the relationship between Nicko McBrain and Premier has culminated in a series of iconic drum sets, produced to support Iron Maiden’s world tours. ­The ‘Spirit of Maiden’ is the first drum set from Premier to offer fans an affordable kit that’s officially licensed by Iron Maiden. Featuring 6.6mm six-ply birch shells, the ‘Spirit of Maiden’ shell pack consists of two power toms, 10x9” and 12x10”, with traditional mounting upon the shell. ­ The power toms, along with the 16x16” floor tom, come fitted with 1.6mm triple-fl ange steel hoops. The 22x18” bass drum’s attributes include matching, fully finished, lacquered, wooden hoops and heavy-duty spurs. ­ The power toms are mounted to the bass drum with the inclusion of the Roklok tom holder. A matching 14x5.5” snare drum completes the five-piece shell pack off ering. The artwork of the kit depicts the band’s iconic mascot Eddie from the Piece Of Mind album. Meanwhile, Nicko will also be undertaking a Premier-endorsed UK clinic tour in November: ‘An evening with Nicko – a night of drums, drumming and entertainment with Iron Maiden’s Nicko McBrain’. The evening promises entertainment from start to finish, appealing to players of all abilities and ages. Nicko will provide an insight into drumming for one of the world’s greatest rock bands, showcasing his technique and driven along by his larger-than-life personality. He will also be launching a series of Premier products, officially licensed by Iron Maiden and designed in collaboration with Nicko himself, including drum sets, snare drums and authentic replicas of his tour kits.
