Ready, Set, Occupy.

Florida garage rockers Young Circles released the single ‘Ninety-Nine Percent’, a tribute to the ongoing ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement over here (although from what I’m reading it appears to be spreading globally). All proceeds from the single – it’s available for a $1 or higher donation – are going to OccupyWallSt.org, and the embeddable stream of the single is available at http://youngcircles.bandcamp.com/album/ninety-nine-percent. Meanwhile, the band is working on a follow-up to the most recent release, Jungle Habits, and lining up some live dates, just because. Onstage they have drums all over the place, and everybody – Jordy Asher, Jeff Rose and Antonio Gonzalez –gets a chance to bang on ’em.
